School registration
Your child does not yet attend our school, but will soon?
Then we have some information here that might help you.
The very first information evening for parents, where you will be informed about school registration and receive initial information about the school in general, usually takes place in the spring of the year preceding the year in which your child becomes of school age.
School registration is required, even if you wish to make use of the flexible arrangement.
For children who reach their sixth birthday between July 1st and September 30th of any given year
Parents or guardians can postpone their child's school attendance by one year by submitting a written declaration to the school. This informal declaration must be submitted to the school before the start of the school year in question, no later than May 1st. No reason needs to be given. A short, informal letter to the school is sufficient.
These are the children who have their sixth birthday between July 2nd and October 1st (see information sheet on flexible school entry dates).
