Mathematics Olympiad

Every year, some of our third- and fourth-grade students participate in the Mathematics Olympiad. This competition isn't just about accurate calculations, but also about logical thinking, creativity, and the joy of solving puzzles.

In three rounds, the children can show how well they can solve difficult tasks independently:

  1. First round: The tasks are completed at home.
  2. Second round: Particularly successful children from round 1 qualify further.
  3. Third round: The best 7,500 primary school students in Lower Saxony compete.

The children participating in the second and third rounds will be honored at a ceremony, receive a certificate, and have the chance to win small prizes.
